:) :D When I saw this cute "panda kamasutra"cup, I simply had to 'steal' it from my roommate (by 'roommate' i mean 'flatmate/housemate'. Aiyoyo...Mi no comprende American English sometimes. In other parts of the world, 'roommate' = someone who shares the same room. Here in "US and A" (quote Sacha Baron Cohen'sinfamous character Borat), roommate = everyone in the same apartment.

"Chicken Limited" & "chicken oyster"???

The first time I came across "Chicken Limited" on a menu, I thought it's a pretty good name for a company - Chicken Ltd, chicken.com...

So, what do you get when you order “chicken limited”? – soft knee bones, neck, “chicken oysters” or “sot’ly laisse” ( :)haha, it’s kinda funny to see some French words suddenly appearing on a Japanese menu, amidst all the "kotsu"s and "hatsu"s)

Chicken oysters are two small, round pieces of dark meat on the back of poultry near the thigh, in the hollow on the dorsal side of the ilium bone. Some regard the "oyster meat" to be the most flavorful and tender part of the bird, while others dislike the taste and texture.
Compared to dark meat found in other parts of the bird, the oyster meat has a somewhat firm/taut texture which gives it a distinct mouth feel.


In French, this part of the bird is called "sot-l'y-laisse" which translates, roughly, to "the fool leaves it there",as unskilled carvers sometimes accidentally leave it on the skeleton.

NO " :) " refill?

:) Amused by the irony, lol :D A big "NO REFILL" sign with a smiley face. I am going to boycott this deli for as long as I can, not because of the "no refill" issue, I didn't even get coffee there...but I went there to get a panini, asked the owner where the closest laundromat is, and he shrugged and said "no". What the...{ }? Come on...what's wrong with taking 10 seconds just to tell me that the laundromat's 2 blocks away.

But why not offer coffee refills? Not that anyone will be going back for that many refills of hot coffee... Even if they do, it costs maybe only about a dollar to make 4 cups of coffee, betul?
